FACULTY - STAFF Websites - How to Request a Website and Change Your Password

This article applies only to FACULTY, STAFF (blue and Gemini), and SPECIAL websites.


A blue website is a faculty or staff website.   


Gemini accounts are web accounts on a specific server.  Gemini accounts are only available for the Masters of Educational Technology program.  


After a website is created by the Help Desk, web pages can be created and maintained by using a program such as Sharepoint Designer, FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc.



How to Request a Website:


Please complete the web request form available at this link --> 


Faculty or Staff Website Request Link

(login with your email credentials)


Special Website Request Link (for an entity or organization)

(login with your email credentials)



How to Change a Blue Website Password:


Your website password will expire every 180 days.    To change the password to your blue website:


Access this link -->

Go to your blue website


     Click within your browser's address field and press the End key (this will take you to the end).

      Backspace repeatedly until you have removed yoursitename (leaving just

      Press Enter or click on Go


Follow the prompts to change your password.  Note, that you must enter your new password twice for confirmation.

If you need help accessing your Blue or Gemini website or resetting your password, please ask your Department secretary to open a Track-It work order, send an email to, or call 882-HELP (4357).
