How Do I Set Up My Laptop for Wireless Access

The LIBERTAD wireless network is provided to approximately 90% of the main UTB campus and approximately 75% of the ITEC campus.
 
 
How to  (BOTH STEPS ARE REQUIRED FOR ACCESS)

 

1.    Configure your computer:

 

      Step-by-Step Guide:   Windows 7,  Windows Vista, Windows XP, or MAC OSX  (click on your OS)

 

2.    Register your computer:  

     You must register your computer’s unique 12-character alphanumeric ID (MAC address) in order to be granted access to the network.   Directions for obtaining your computer's MAC address are outlined in #1 of the step-by-step guide for your computer (above).

     Once you have the 12-character ID, click on the link below and then click on the My Wireless Account button.

If you need assistance with registering or configuring your computer for wireless access, please visit the the open lab in SETB 1.536 or Oliveira Library first floor (main lobby).  Any of the lab assistants can help you with the required setup.
