Article Content

A popup window is a web browser window that is smaller than standard windows and without some of the standard features such as tool bars, status bars, or scroll bars.   Often popup windows are used for advertisements or phishing attempts.
Many UTB web applications require the Pop-up Blocker to be turned off.

Turn off Pop-up Blocker (for IE 9):   (other versions should be similar)

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on Tools (may be a little icon of a gear) and select Internet Options.
  3. Click on the Privacy tab and make sure "Turn on Pop-up Blocker" is UNchecked.
